This course is a state graduation requirement for social studies. It is important because it prepares our students to be productive, involved, and informed democratic citizens. The Global History classroom allows students to examine various regions, cultures, and civilizations at different periods of history.  This class encourages the study of how the past effects the present and our future. Global 9 examines history from the earliest time till the present, all in one year.
