During each 6 day cycle, students will be given 10 new words with a common Greek or Latin root.

Students are expected to complete 5 assignments to help them learn the spelling and meaning of these 10 words. 

Each student will receive a chart to staple in their planner. Parents sign the chart as each assignment is completed. This indicates to us that the assignment was done on time.

On the morning of Day 6, students will hand in their chart for a homework grade. Each of the 5 assignments are worth 20% of the grade. Therefore, if all 5 assignments are done on time, the student will earn a 100%. If 4 assignments are signed, indicating that they were done on time, the student earns an 80%, and so on.
