This is a screen shot of West Point Bridge Designer, one of the programs we will use! This program will teach us the basic fundamentals of engineering.
After building a virtual bridge we will use 1 of the designs you made to make a balsa wood bridge! We will test the balsa wood bridge to see who in the class has the best design.
After finishing the Bridge unit we move onto the MagLev unit. MagLev is short for Magnetic Levitation. In this unit students will design a car that they will race against one another. Here are a few examples of what students have made in the past.
