Having taught general and vocal music for 35 years in the Elmira City School District, I began my career with GST BOCES as a Fine Arts Mentor in 2009.  My current responsibilities include mentoring untenured teachers in music and art for ECSD as well as coordinating department staff development and program.  New this year is training music and art faculties in CCLS.  In addition, I coordinate the Arts in Education for ECSD, and arrange visiting artist programs and residencies.  Since I work part-time in this position, the most convenient way to reach me is through email:  meckel@gstboces.org
