About Me
About Me:

Hello, my name is Kayla Kelly. This is my 4th year as the District Librarian for the Odessa-Montour school district. Previously to working here as the librarian, I was a substitute teacher for 5 years and I also worked for the Afterschool Odyssey program for 2 years.

It's very exciting working for Odessa-Montour as I am a graduate of OM as well. I graduated in 2005 and then went on to SUNY Cortland where I received my bachelors degree in 2008. After that I attended Mansfield University to receive my masters degree in Education with a concentration in School Library & Information Technology.

In my spare time I love spending time with my family and friends, running, reading (of course!) and shopping.

I have always been an avid reader and loved going to the library as a child, which is what made me want to become a librarian! I love being in a career where I am surronded my books all day long. It's even better that I am able to share my love of reading with the students at our school and pass that on to them!
