Homework
Homework is something that is assigned 2-3 times per week. I expect all homework assignments to be completed and returned the next day or on the due date. Homework is only sent home when I am confident that the student will be able to finish the majority of it on their own and come up with the correct answers. Homework is something to reinforce concepts we are learning about in class. If your child ever comes home with a homework assignment that you and your child are struggling with, please do not hesitate to get a hold of me. I would rather discuss and explain it better for understanding with you or your child then have them miss the concept completely and not hand anything in.
There are often times when the children will have a chance to work on their homework at the end of the day, this may be way you do not see a lot coming home. However, if they have homework for that night, it will be initialed in their planner.
