Elementary Band Information 2012-2013

Elementary Band will be held at varying times this school year.  Elementary band and band lessons are hosted by Mrs. Ann-Marie Thayer.

Books for fourth grade band can be purchased at McNeil's Music in Ithaca (Triphammer Mall) or Hickey's Music (Dey and Adams Street).  The book for this year is Essential Elements 2000 book 1.  Make sure you purchase book 1 for the instrument that you will be playing.  Mrs. Thayer has a list of other supplies and incidentals that you may need to purchase in order to participate in band.

The school district provides rental instruments for students and parents that are interested in joining band but not quite willing to take the plunge of purchasing what can be very expensive instruments.  The fee is $50.00 per year and instruments are distributed on a first come first serve basis.  Again, contact Mrs. Thayer if you wish to join band this year!
