NEWFIELD HS ATTENDANCE GUIDELINES

 

Students are expected to attend 85% of the scheduled classes of a course of study in order to be eligible for course credit. 

 

1. 85% of the regularly scheduled class periods is defined as no more than 26 absences for a full-year course.   
2. 85% of the regularly scheduled class periods is defined as no more than 13 absences for a half-year (1 semester) course.
3. 85% of the regularly scheduled class periods is defined as no more than 6 absences for Physical Education.
