TEACCH Tasks

Work tasks are an effective way to help students with autism gain independence. Also called work stations or task boxes, work tasks are simple activities that help students practice basic skills by competing simple assignments on their own.

No matter the task you use, the system only works if your students can answer these 4 questions about the task:

  1. What work do I have to do?
  2. How much work do I have to do?
  3. How will I know when I am finished?
  4. What will happen when I am finished
