About Me
All About Me

My name is Kayla Kelly. This is my 4th year as the district librarian at Odessa-Montour. Before I began my position here as the librarian I was a substitute teacher for 5 years and I also worked with the Afterschool Odyssey program for 2 years.I also coached volleyball for 3 years.

I am a graduate of Odessa-Montour myself, as I graduated in 2005. i went on to receive my bachelors degree from SUNY Cortland in 2008 and then my Masters in Education with a concentration in School Library & Information Technology from Mansfield University in 2011.

In my spare time I love spending time with my husband and our son, Hudson.

I have always been an avid reader, which is what made me want to become a librarian. I don't think there is a better job than being surronded by books all day long! It's even better that I am able to share my love of reading with the students at our school and hopefully pass that on to them!
