Parent Portal
Parents who have not yet signed up for a Parent Portal account must visit the school their child attends and present identification. In the event of e-mail address changes, parents should contact the guidance office at the High School with their new address. Parents with questions on the Parent Portal should be directed to e-mail csdportalinfo@horseheadsdistrict.com.
Report Cards
Report cards are issued to students in their homerooms at the high school level. The student is responsible for bringing them home. All report card dates are printed on the district calendar.
IEP GOALS PROGRESS REPORTS
Students with IEPs work on goals in the area of need as indicated on their Individualized Education Program. IEP progress reports are completed by the special education teacher and sent home with students through their resource room at the time the report cards are issued.
CSE
Committee on Special Education Meetings are team meetings where the Individualized Education Plans (IEP) are reviewed, adjusted and developed. Meetings are held on designated Mondays at the high school.

Parents or guardians will receive a letter from the student services office indicating the date and time on their student's review meeting.
Regents Exams
- Students with IEP testing modifications will be instructed to report to room #108 for their tests to be escorted to their smaller testing settings based on their indicated IEP modifications.
- Students with section 504 testing modifications will be instructed to report to the high school testing center for their testing modifications as they normally have throughout the school year.
