Physics

Regents Physics is a challenging course that focuses on natural phenomena occuring around us everyday. We will begin our study with motion and expand to Einstein's Theory of Relativity by the end of the school year. Along the way, we will explore electricity, elastic motion, magnetism, waves, subatomic particles, and many other topics.

Class expectations and grading policies can be found by clicking on the blue link. Homework completion is key to student success, since students need to practice the material on their own. Students will have homework most nights of the week.

As this is a Regents level course, 30 satisfactory labs (1200 minutes) are required to take the Regents Exam and to pass the course. Parents will receive notification of the number of labs their child has completed in December and April. Please contact me if you have any questions or concerns using the "Email Me" Link to the right or at the school 594-3341 Ext. 3909.
