Living Environment

Living Environment is a course that focuses on typical biology content (cells, animals, genetics, etc.) while also addressing human impact on the environment and change over time. Students will have the opportunity for exploration of content in class as well as during hands-on lab experiences.

Class expectations can be found by clicking on the blue link. Homework and lab completion are key to student success, since students need to practice course material on their own. Students will have homework a few nights a week and lab due dates will be announced in class.

As this is a Regents level course, 30 satisfactory labs (1200 minutes) are required to take the Regents Exam and to pass the course. Parents will receive notification of the number of labs their child has completed in December and April.
