3rd quarter Week #1
UPDATE - I was sick and out of school for high school lessons this week - but 5/6 lessons worked on Eb concert scale, lesson books for some 6th grade and for percussion we did eighth notes on the upbeat and started eighth notes on the downbeat. 7/8 lessons continued in the jazz book and we went over 7th chords and the 12 bar blues, we start improvising with thirds and sevenths next week!
3rd quarter Week #2
High school lessons - #32-42 in your book - and Fantasy on an African American Spiritual
Percussion - New Rudiments - single drag, single ratamacue, flamacue - review of rolls, paradiddle and flam rudiments
5/6 lessons -
5th grade - #90-97 in book 1
6th grade - #17-27 in book 2
Percussion - p15
7/8 lessons - continue in jazz book working on improv. - take a look at Imani again

7/8 - Jazz books - Dominant/Blues scale to expand onthe chord we learned before and music check on Entry of the Gladiators and All Shook Up
9-12 - African American Spiritual 6/8 section, continue in books
