The children will be practicing the name of Letter Ee with the short vowel sound /e/ as in the word “elephant.” Please have your child continue to practice this letter and sound. Ask him or her to tell you the names of things that start with the /e/ sound. We are spending two weeks on letter “e” because it is a difficult vowel sound.
