Newfield Elementary has adopted the following six goals:

1.  Eliminate the use of styrofoam trays, plates, cups, and bowls.

2.  Eliminate the use of plastic silverware.

3.  Recycle all paper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum, and glass.

4.  Reuse or recycle plastic grocery-style bags.

5.  Compost food and other compostable items.

6.  Use materials responsibly, therefore reducing the amount of items used, such as:  paper towels, napkins, straws, etc.
