Our Mission
 
The Mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users of ideas and information. This mission is accomplished by providing intellectual and physical access to materials in all formats, by providing instruction to foster competence and stimulate interest in reading, viewing, and using information and ideas, and by working with other educators to design learning strategies to meet the needs of individual students.  Information Power:Guidelines for School Library media Programs (1988), p.1 Information Power
 
 
General Information
 
The Library is open on school days from 8:00 am until 3:00pm Monday through Friday. A school library media specialist is available to assist you with your request for information. Laptop computers, a scanner, a black laser printer, a color laser printer, Smart-board and projection screen, are available for individuals or classes. A print collection in excess of 11,500 titles is complimented by subscription databases as well as more than 30 periodicals. A copy machine is available for students.
