I was born and raised on Long Island, graduated from William Floyd High
School in 1999, and earned my Bachelor's degree from SUNY New Paltz in 2003.
Later on I received my Master's degree in Instructional Technology from the New York
Institute of Technology (N.Y.I.T.) in 2008.
After attending SUNY New Paltz I decided to move upstate. I lived in New
Paltz for a while working as a pre-school teacher and later began substitute
teaching all over Sullivan and Orange Counties. I began my teaching career
with Liberty in September 2005. I taught 6th grade during my first 3 years,
and have been teaching 5th grade since then.
My husband (Ed) and I live in Monticello with our 2 children Griffin and Kayleigh.
They are 4 and 1, so we are quite busy!! I love being a mom and having fun
with the kids :)
In my free time I enjoy watching football (Go Giants!), going to concerts and
shows as well as spending time with my dogs and cats. I also love to travel.
The most exciting places I've been to are Turks and Caicos, the Dominican
Republic, and St. Kitts. I always enjoy traveling to new places and learning
about the people who live there.
