Global History II is a continuation of Global History I (9th grade). A chronological approach is used in Global History. Students study the history of the human race from the 1600's to the present. This course studies the political, economic, religous, and cultural systems of the people of Africa, Asia, Europe, and Latin America during this time period. This course also studies the influence of geography on the developement of civilization.

All students enrolled in this course are required to take the Global History and Geography Regents that is based on the curricula covered in Global History I and II. The Global History Regents Exam consists of 50 multiple choice questions, one thematic essay, and one document based essay question.
