About Ms. Lacy

Here's a place for you to learn a little more about your teacher.

I grew up in Canaseraga on a small dairy farm.  A couple years ago, I moved into my grandmother's house, just a quarter-mile from the house I grew up in.  I attended SUNY Geneseo and received my Bachelor's Degree in 2001.  I began working at Alfred-Almond in September 2001.  I received my Master's Degree from Alfred University.  In my 10 years at Alfred-Almond, I have worked in the Unified Education program at the 5th and 6th grade levels, as well as teaching at the 4th and 6th grade levels.  This school year I will be returning to 6th grade (and the world of science) after spending three years teaching 4th grade.  Confused yet?

Outside school, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking and biking.  I love to read!  My family is very important to me, and I spend a lot of time with them.  I also love animals, and you'll get to learn a lot about Bonnie and Al (my kitties) and Montana (my dog) this year!

I'm looking forward to spending the 2011-2012 school year with you!
