Homework Policy

Students are required to bring a TI-30Xa or a TI-30XII calculator to each class and be prepared to use it.

The policy for homework assignments is as follows:

Homework will be assigned DAILY with few exceptions. All homework assignments will have specific due dates, usually, the next scheduled class. In order to qualify for 100% credit, homework assignments must be completely finished prior to coming to class and may be checked for completeness when class begins.

Assignments NOT completed as above will receive NO CREDIT but must still be submitted within 1 week from the due date. Students missing 2 consecutive assignments, or 3 assignments throughout the entire marking period, will receive a half-hour detention. When a student misses assignments, a notification will be sent to the parents or guardians.

Students with legal excuses (illness, out of town, doctor's appointments, etc.) will be allowed additional time to make up the assignments without penalty after they return to school.

Homework assignments will count as 20% of the student's overall average.

PLEASE NOTE:

Students are expected to conduct themselves honestly and with integrity in their work. All forms of cheating and plagiarism are prohibited. Behavior that is unacceptable includes, but is not limited to:

* Allowing another student to look at or copy answers from your test or quiz

* Using any other method to get/give test or quiz answers

* Copy information from a source without proper attribution and,
