Music Overview
All students at Center Street have music for 30 minutes twice in a 6 day cycle. The music room is located on the second floor of the building in room 201 across from the library.

Opportunities for 4th grade include singing is chorus and playing a band or orchestra instrument.  At the end of the thrid grade year all students attended an assemble to show all the specific instruments offered.  Following this assembly, in smaller groups, students had the opportunity to try out many of the instruments which we offer to beginning level students.  These list of instruments offered at the 4th grade level are flute, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, trombone, baritone, percussion, violin, viola and cello.  At the beginning of the 4th grade school year, the 4th grade teachers will have every student attend a few chorus rehearsals to experience what it is like so they can make an informed decision about their participation in chorus.  If you would like further details regrading the orchestra program at Center Street please refer to Mrs. Matthew's web site found here.
