Academic Intervention Services in English language Arts Grades 9 - 12
- The primary goal of AIS English in grades 9 -12 is to prepare for the English Regents Exam given in the Junior year of High School
- We will use past assessments and parallel tasks to prepare for the English Regents
- AIS English also provides an opportunity to work on assignments from other classes that are writing intensive with support and coaching
- All assignments are completed in class, so there is no additional homework for AIS
- There is a "quarterly" report indicating student progress in AIS English that will be attached to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 6th report cards
