- In English 12, we will cover a variety of literature in a variety of formats
- Novels may include The Kite Runner, by Khalid Hosseini, Fallen Angels, by Walter Dean Myers, and Frankenstein,by Mary Shelley
- Short stories, such as Harrison Bergeron, by Kurt Vonnegut Jr.
- Plays, such as Reginald Rose's "12 Angry Men"
- Film study may include films to support and supplement literature, as well as films for direct study, such as the classic "Citizen Kane"
- There will be many in class and homework assignments
- Students are expected to turn in assignments in a timely fashion, with a penalty of 10 points for each day late (excluding excused absences)
- Upon returning from an absence, students should find out what work they missed and make it up at their ealiest convenience
