Course Overview:
This math class is designed for a small class size and instructed at a slower pace, in order to ensure proficiency.
Below grade level skills/concepts  will be reviewed and retaught in order to create a strong foundation of the basic skills necessary for mastery of the Math 7 content. 

Supplies:
*binder
*loose-leaf paper
*pencils only

Classroom Expectations:
1.  Be on time and prepared.
2.  Participate and follow directions.
3.  Be respectful of others and the school building/grounds.
4.  Listen when others are talking. 
5.  Treat others how you would like to be treated.
6.  Be honest and accept responsibility for your actions. 
7.  Be your best self and do your best work. 

Grading Policy:
Grades in this class will be comprised of tests, quizzes, graded HW and classwork, participation grades and binder grades.
Tests and projects will be higher point values (50-100 points), as they are intended to weigh/count more.
The grades of the students are based on a total point system. For example if there is total point value of 250 for the marking period and your child earns 204 points.  204/250 = 82% average.
