We go outside for recess every afternoon after lunch except for on rainy or extremely cold days. Your child will be asked to wear a coat outside which may be removed if it’s warm enough. The playground equipment can be slippery, so sandals, flip-flops and slippery “dress-up “shoes are only allowed on the blacktop. It’s really just easier to have your child wear sneakers or soft-soled shoes to school every day.
