*Supplies*
The following supplies are very important to have the first day of school and should be kept supplied throughout the year.  Your child will also need crayons, scissors & glue sticks at home for homework.  
   
    To share:
1 dozen yellow Ticonderoga or Dixon pencils             
3 - 6 glue sticks  - Please buy the SMALL ones
1 package cap erasers
1 box of Kleenex

For yourself: 
2 boxes of crayons (Please buy 16 or 24 packs) 
1 pair of scissors
2 folders, any color, to hold papers in your desk (Students in Mrs. Alexander’s class will need 4 folders.
2 low-odor, dry erase markers, BLACK ONLY
1 shoe box to put inside your desk to hold supplies (No pencil boxes please.)
1 gallon-sized baggie for your headphones (And a pair of headphones if you don’t have any or they are broken.)
2 yellow highlighters
1 pencil sharpener, for students in Mrs. Alexander’s class only

FOR COMPUTER LAB: Although your child’s headphones are passed on from the 1st grade teacher, it is a good idea for students to start each school year with new headphones. They become quite dirty and the wires break easily. Please send them to school in a gallon size zip-lock storage bag with your child’s name and Mrs. Cady on the bag.
