PERSONAL FINANCE
This course will place emphasis on how students should use their personal financial resources to enjoy today and be financially secure tomorrow.
CLASSROOM EXPECTATIONS: Everyone is to be on time and prepared for class.
SUPPLIES NEEDED:
3-ringed Binder with 5 tab dividers (Calendars, Notes/Handouts, Homework, Guest Speakers, Misc), CALCULATOR, Notepaper, Pencil AND Pen (blue or black ink)

GRADING PROCEDURES:
The student’s grade will be based on quizzes, tests, homework and projects as follows:
40% Tests (projects may also count as a test grade)
60% Homework, Class work, Activities, Binder Check
Students who successfully complete this class will be able to:
- Create their own personal financial plan.
- Create their own plan for a career.
- Create a resume and fill out job applications.
- Understand more about consumer purchasing strategies and legal protection. Understand some basics about banking and investing.
