HOMEWORK, CALENDARS &  STUDY GUIDES:

Homework will be assigned Monday through Thursday.  Homework helps your child review what is learned in class.

Each Friday your child should bring home a calendar for the upcoming week.  The calendars will show test dates, spelling words for the upcoming week, special events and briefly describe the units of study for the upcoming week.  Extra copies are always available upon request.

When we begin a new social studies or science unit your child should bring home a unit overview.  The overview will outline all of the concepts and vocabulary words that will be taught in the upcoming unit (this is a great thing to post on the fridge!).  Also, near the end of a unit your child should bring home a study guide to help prepare for the test.
