The Newfield Central School District is very lucky to have an outstanding drama department.  The middle school and high school stage annual productions. 

  In the high school, Ms. Lori White, Mr. Steve Yaple, Mrs. Annmarie Thayer and Mr. Alex McDonald, the students (and some faculty and community members) work very hard for months on end to provide the audiences with a sensational production.   In the past several years the productions have had well over 100 participants between the actors, crew and orchestra.....not bad for a district our size!           

  We are also very fortunate at Newfield to have two great feeder programs.  Our middle school plays are directed by Mrs. Annemarie Thayer and Miss Sharon Powell.   During the summer there has been an elementary drama program directed by Mrs. Mar Thomas and Mr. Jon Armstrong
