Fourth Grade Chorus

This year, the third and fourth grade choruses will perform a musical "The Unity Tree"  by Teresa Jennings on Wednesday, January 16th  at 7:00 in the elementary school gym. Some of the songs included in the musical were "It's Snowing", "That's Just the Way That It is", "You'll Be Sorry", "I'd Rather Be Your Friend" and "United We Stand."

In June, the fourth grade chorus will have a traditional concert, which will be held in the S-VE high school auditorium on Tuesday, June 18th at 6:30PM.

Here are the words to some of our songs:

It's Snowing

It's Snowing, snowing cats and dogs.
It's snowing, snowing cats and dogs.
It's snowing, snowing cats and dogs.
It's snowing, snowing cats and dogs.

They look so peaceful flying through the sky,
you almost could not guess
that cats and dogs don't usually fly
and they don't get along the best.
But you'll see in the sky, cats and dogs seem to fly. To fly!

That's Just the Way That It Is
All dogs (or cats) are no good.
Nah, nah, nah, nah, no good.
All dogs (or cats) are no good.
Nah, nah, nah, nah, no good.
No. No good. That's just the way that it is.
No. No good. That's just the way that it is.

Stay away from that side of the tree.
Listen to me! Listen to me!

You'll Be Sorry

Give us back our kitty cat. You can't get away with that.
Give us back our puppy dog. You must think we're in a fog.

You'll be sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!
You'll be sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry!

We know that you took our cat. You can't get away with that.
We know that you took our dog. You must think we're in a fog.

United We Stand
United we stand together in our land.
United we live in harmony, harmony.
We live with this plan, to go forward hand in hand
to create our own land of unity, unity.

We will take it and make it together.
We will build up our home in harmony.
We wil work together. We will live togerher.
We will stand together in unity.
United we stand.

I'd Rather Be Your Friend

I'd rather not be mad. Don't want to feel so angry.
Wouldn't you rather get along? Then we could all be free.

Free from war, and free from hate. This is our chance, at last!
We don't have to be what we don't want to be.
We can let go of the past, of the past.

I'd rather be your friend. Don't want to be your enemy.
We could accept our differences, sharing our unity!
I'd rather be.
