Scholastic Book Orders
The love and enjoyment of reading is something I hope to instill in each of my students this year. That is why our nightly reading homework is our most important homework!
Sometimes it is hard for parents to know what books are popular in second grade. Town and school library books are great to use for homework, but often students want to start creating a library of their own. Book store prices can be expensive: especially if you have eager readers like my own children. Therefore, I send book orders home throughout the school year.
The company I use is Scholastic Books. These books cost a lot less than you would find in the stores. If you would like to order books, please mark the books you would like on the form that is sent home and send in a check made out to "Scholastic Books" (or cash) by the date on the order form.
I do not do online book orders. Online orders require parents to give out their emails and personal information just so their child can enjoy books. The company also tends to send emails daily to me. Yuck! I am saving you from this:) So please just fill out the paper form and send in the money if you wish to order.
