Yearbook

This page is for the Liberty High School Yearbook.

Many events occur during the school year that the High School Yearbook Staff attend and record to submit to the LHS Yearbook.

However there are some things that are not ‘Events’ that we need your help for. Such as…

Seniors- A senior Graduating from LHS has many responsibilities when it comes to ‘their’ yearbook. Things like taking your Senior picture, submitting baby pictures, Goals, quotes, Last Will, deciding if you would like to place an Senior Advertisement and memories (both images and statements) are collected by December of that year and placed into the yearbook in the months of January and February.

First things first- Senior portrait. The first sitting for this is in August and the makeup date or retakes occur in October. It is imperative to take this picture through the LHS photographer that year in order to have your picture in the Senior Section of the yearbook. If you don’t take a picture you will not be included in this Section of the yearbook. There are NO retakes after the October retake date. All of these dates will given to the upcoming Seniors at a Junior Class meeting held in June. They will be given to the Seniors again during a class meeting in September of their graduating year.

Next are things that are optional- Baby pictures, Goals, Quotes, Last Will memories and Senior Advertisements.  Baby pictures, goals and Quotes appear along with your Senior Formal portrait.  If you do not submit one, there will be a blank area alongside your Senior Formal portrait.  Memories, these can be in the form of an image or can be written and submitted as a ‘remember when’ sentence or two. Your last Will is entered in as a single sentence of what you would like to leave behind at Liberty High School. This can be an attitude, an object, a memory, something for a younger sibling to attain ect.

The last thing to think about is if you would like to enter a Senior Advertisement to the yearbook congratulating your child on their graduation. These forms are in a link here on the yearbook site letting you know about cost. Who to contact and what you can put into the Ad page. These are due in November.

Underclassmen- You have it much easier as most things are taken care of for you. However if you would like to be in the yearbook, please take a minute to stop and pose for the cameras when yearbook staff are taking pictures of events and everyday school life. Also participating in school events also helps out as well! Things like Spirit week, Sneaker Night, School Games, Color Wars and other events are all popular events that the LHS yearbook attend and take pictures for. So show some school Spirit and participate!

Lastly, when the school has their annual picture day, GET YOUR PICTURE TAKEN! Make sure to read the card handed to you to make sure your name is spelled right and you are listed in the correct grade level. All of these things we cannot change once the photo company has entered you into the yearbook. So be proactive and check your slip while you are waiting in line to have your picture taken.

Parents- Purchase the Yearbook early! The yearbook is on sale at a cheaper price from September to the end of October. Also this is a great time to not only get the yearbook at a cheaper price but to also get some items for free! Like if you purchase the yearbook and personalize it you get 4 free icons for free! All of this adds up to some great savings.

It also great to note that we do not order extra yearbooks, only pre ordered yearbooks are ordered as too much money is lost on extra yearbooks and we simply don’t have them money or space to house extra yearbooks. So if you would like a yearbook, Order by the end of February to ensure that you receive one!
